VANNI for Icons of ITALY - Eyewear for all cities
A pair of glasses for Italian every city, the temples personalized starting with the Turin and Milan skylines. The VANNI prescription glass collection liaises with “Icons of Italy”, the Italian design firm who have been applying Italian city skylines to sundry objects of home, fashion and stationery. The towns so far represented are Turin and Milan, a tribute that will soon extend to other centres.
Onto the exclusive VANNI acetate multilayers, the skylines are screen-printed in colours to suggest a nocturnal townscape, resulting in a serious yet highly personal accessory. Fronts are in sombre shades - black, purple, havana with contrasting bright colours on the inside.
