The new # Prodesigndenmark 4th Dimension 4717-19 is a collection of colorful sanded acetate frames based on a unique new way of handling the acetate material.
To make a product, with less material consumption, this project was hatched from the original idea of using cut outs from front production, chopping them up into bits and pieces and mixing them all together again, and then reuse them for temples.

The fronts have rivets as a retro reference, and they are all kept in calm sanded solid colors that complement the multicolor temples.

Wooden lines flow beautifully from one level to the next, transforming something ridged and stiff into a soft and tactile sculpture. Monocolor fools around with the very important colorblocking tendencies.
After decades of exploring all kinds of color combination, we took the completely opposite approach.

Only 1 color, but let that one color be strong, that is the theme for this collection.

We have mixed highly commercial shapes with more unique, but they all have in common, that the tops have some volume, while the bottom is kept quite thin.

The combination between the rounded finish of the edges makes this product extremely nice to hold and wear.

All made in stainless steel.

Lee Yoon-Mi is a South Korean actress and entrepreneur. She won the top prize in the Super Elite Model Best Talent Awards in 1998. She made her entertainment debut in 2003 as a member of the K-pop/dance girl group THE S (더에스).
Afterwards, Lee transitioned into acting, appearing in in television dramas such as Little Women (2004) and My Love (2006). She also played the lead actress in the stage musical The Golden Days in 2011.
