The smallest unit of information in a digital image is the pixel. Here it forms the ‘grain’ of a block-acetate designed exclusively for VANNI.  

VANNI’s Pixel collection takes the infinitesimal squared mesh of digital graphics and makes it 3-D, playing on the transparency and light effects of a material that is all micro-cubes of varying sizes and colours, alternating full-empty spaces, and with a rich classical refinement.

This collection yields its qualities to the discerning eye, alert to the minute detail.  The shapes are unisex, with single-colour tops or a plain ground. To enhance textural subtlety we have coffee-gold, anthracite grey or vibrant violet-yellow.

Frames made in exclusive biodegradable acetate material.

With these frames ProDesign are facing society and working with sustainable development and the present environmental debate.

These frames are made in an exclusive biodegradable acetate material. The process of making this is very gentle and supports sustainability. They resemble the beauty and depth of a real wood material with the grain details of the wood made visible by brushing the surface of the material.  

The frames were inspired by the desire to create a high fashion, stylish and intelligent look, designed for the urban, environmentally conscious female and male. The “natural look” is the inspiration behind the design, a trend that contains artsy, heavy retro shapes with depth and weight, but in a highly clean and classic way. Very bold frames, re-designed from those great shapes of the past, almost like a cigar box in heavy wood.

In this collection you will find frames made of two different wood-structures - one light one dark, to create a dynamic forest look. Also you will find beautiful combinations with two tone coloring and one layered wood-structure.  As an exciting contrast the hinge is kept in the original raw condition and adds a clean, streamlined look to the overall design. The colors are of course inspired by the natural tones of the forest.

A fashionable and colorful acetate-metal frame with an intelligent look

With this frame the designer has made an excellent acetate-metal combination with the hinge from the successful 6118-27 collections. By adding an acetate front it is possible to have even more rich and colorful frames than their predecessors.

With this combo it can both be classy and at the same time very fashionable with fresh and daring colors. To make a better connection to the fronts, the designer has decided to use acetate end-tips in matching colors.

The matte brushed rivets in the front serve as both a decoration detail and functionally for fixing the end-piece to the back side.

You will find both masculine expression, with focus on the depth and the width in the frames, and very curved feminine to round Panto shapes.
